Mr. David Mack has provided a six-week program for the Ghebre Michael Inn centered on Information Technology, Stress-Management, and Micro-Entrepreneurship. This program has been received well by the residents not only for the content and the Internet training, but also for the way Mr. Mack models what he is presenting. The men quickly identified with Mr. Mack, and were able to receive a degree of individualized assistance in whatever has been their specific area of stress or concern.
The staff of the Ghebre Michael Inn values the input of SantanaMack because the program is an enhancement of GMI's goal of enabling men to once again take control of their lives to reenter society as responsible, well-functioning citizens. As Mr. Mack so aptly puts it, "The underlying premise of these training modules is empowerment."
